Teaching Assistant - Cognition & Learning / Communication & Interaction

Location: Redbridge
Start: October/November
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Redbridge looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Cognition & Learning and Communication & Interaction needs.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 and small-group support, help deliver targeted interventions and work closely with teaching and SEND staff to help pupils access learning and make progress.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous TA/LSA experience

Experience supporting pupils with SEND

Knowledge or training in interventions for Cognition & Learning and/or Communication & Interaction

Strong communication skills

A patient and supportive approach

Secondary school experience is desirable
