Talent Acquisition and Operations Specialist

The Learning Experience (TLE) is looking for a Talent Acquisition and Operations Specialist to own day-to-day recruitment delivery and talent systems execution across our TLE UK childcare centres and Banana Moon nursery locations. Based at Head Office in Warwickshire, this role combines hands-on recruiting with hands-on ownership of our applicant tracking system, GoHire.

You will manage vacancies and candidate pipelines directly with centre and nursery leaders while partnering closely with our Senior Manager, Talent Operations and Enablement to execute the recruitment systems, workflows, processes and initiatives. We are looking for someone who can take a clear project brief, understand the intended outcome and independently drive the work through to completion.

What You Will Do

• Ensure vacancies are correctly set up, posted and maintained in GoHire.
• Monitor system usage, pipeline activity and data accuracy across TLE UK and Banana Moon locations.
• Identify where process, system configuration or user behaviour is preventing recruitment from moving effectively.
• Partner with operations leaders to troubleshoot recruitment process issues and improve adoption.
• Maintain reporting that highlights pipeline health, sourcing performance, system usage and areas requiring action.
• Support safer recruitment and pre-employment workflows from a systems and process perspective.
• Maintain system automations that ensure strong candidate communication throughout the recruitment journey.
• Execute GoHire initiatives including system configuration, workflow builds, testing and rollout of new functionality.
• Build and maintain jobs, templates, workflows and recruitment content within GoHire.
• Support ongoing configuration and optimisation of the ATS.
• Provide first-line system support to users and troubleshoot routine GoHire issues.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure vacancy, candidate and hiring data remain accurate.
• Test system changes and new functionality before rollout.
• Maintain recruitment process documentation, user guides and standard operating procedures.
• Support recruitment reporting, data integrity and ongoing process improvement.
• Maintain the weekly recruitment reporting rhythm, highlighting pipeline health, source wins, risks and required actions for Operations and Talent leadership.
• Support the transition of successful candidates into safer recruitment and pre-employment processes.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or recruitment operations, ideally within a multi-site environment.
• Proven experience working within an applicant tracking system beyond basic candidate management; system administration or configuration experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with multiple ATS environments preferred.
• Confidence taking ownership of a project or workstream and executing it independently.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written communication skills and experience preparing regular stakeholder updates or recruitment reporting.
• Comfortable working directly with hiring managers and following up to drive action and candidate progression.
• Able to interpret recruitment activity and identify where intervention is needed.
