We are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to lead and develop our recruitment and workforce planning strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment professional who is passionate about attracting, engaging and retaining talented individuals while supporting long-term organisational growth.
The successful candidate will work closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to deliver innovative recruitment solutions, strengthen employer brand awareness, and create sustainable talent pipelines across all levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from workforce planning through to onboarding. Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates, particularly for hard-to-fill and specialist roles. Utilise social media platforms, job boards, professional networks and direct sourcing methods to identify top talent. Enhance recruitment advertising effectiveness and candidate engagement.
Workforce Planning & Succession
Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning and future talent requirements. Develop succession planning frameworks to identify and nurture future leaders and critical talent. Provide insight and recommendations on talent gaps and organisational capability needs.
Retention & Talent Development
Work collaboratively with HR and leadership teams to develop and implement retention strategies. Analyse recruitment and retention data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and career progression.
Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing
Lead recruitment marketing initiatives that position the organisation as an employer of choice. Create engaging employer brand content across social media and external channels. Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Early Careers & Partnerships
Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges and educational institutions. Design and manage apprenticeship pathways, graduate schemes and early careers programmes. Represent the organisation at careers fairs, networking events and industry forums.
Job Design & Organisational Planning
Support managers in creating effective role profiles and job descriptions aligned to business needs. Contribute to organisational design and workforce planning initiatives. Ensure recruitment processes support diversity, equity and inclusion objectives.
Recruitment Innovation & AI
Stay informed on emerging recruitment technologies, market trends and best practice. Evaluate and implement AI-driven recruitment tools where appropriate. Ensure ethical and compliant use of AI and technology within recruitment processes.
Person Specification
Essential Experience
Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Partnering or Internal Recruitment. Experience recruiting across multiple disciplines and seniority levels. Demonstrable success in filling specialist or difficult-to-recruit positions. Experience developing employer branding and recruitment marketing campaigns. Knowledge of workforce planning and succession planning principles. Experience building relationships with educational institutions and supporting early careers programmes.
Essential Skills
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Commercial awareness and analytical thinking. Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously. Strong social media sourcing and recruitment advertising experience. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
Desirable
CIPD qualification or equivalent. Experience implementing AI-enabled recruitment solutions. Knowledge of apprenticeship levy and early careers frameworks. Experience within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
