Location: UK (hybrid – 3 days a week in office) | Salary: Competitive, DOE | Sector: Global Travel Management
The Opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing, international travel management organisation going through an exciting period of transformation in its people function. They're looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager who treats recruitment as more than a process, someone who genuinely cares about the experience of everyone who touches it, from the hiring manager briefing a role to the candidate accepting an offer.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end recruitment role with real scope to shape how the business attracts, selects and welcomes talent across the UK and Europe. You'll own the full recruitment lifecycle, build direct sourcing capability, and be the trusted voice hiring managers turn to for advice on making great hiring decisions.
What You'll Be Doing
* Owning end-to-end recruitment delivery for roles across the business, from brief through to offer.
* Coaching hiring managers on fair, effective and consistent selection practices.
* Building direct sourcing and proactive pipelines for senior and hard-to-fill roles, reducing reliance on agencies.
* Managing relationships and commercial terms with recruitment agencies and job boards.
* Shaping and maintaining the employer brand across careers pages, social media and job advertising.
* Owning the candidate experience from application through to a smooth onboarding handover.
* Tracking and reporting recruitment metrics, time to hire, cost per hire, source effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
* Partnering with the wider People team to ensure recruitment activity is joined up with onboarding and development.
What Success Looks Like
You'll know you're doing this well when hiring managers trust your judgement and come back to you first, when candidates, successful or not leave the process with a positive view of the business, and when your pipelines mean roles get filled with quality, not just speed.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years' experience in a talent acquisition or recruitment role, including in-house experience.
* A genuine track record of owning candidate and hiring manager experience, not just filling roles.
* Confident direct sourcing skills across multiple channels, especially for senior or niche roles.
* Experience managing an applicant tracking system and recruitment reporting.
* Comfortable managing agency and job board relationships and budgets commercially.
* Working knowledge of UK employment law as it relates to recruitment; European exposure is a plus.
* A natural relationship-builder, equally credible with a hiring manager, a candidate and a senior leader.
Why Apply
This is a genuine opportunity to build and shape a recruitment function, not just run one. You'll have real autonomy, visibility with senior stakeholders, and the chance to leave your mark on how the business hires, for years to come.
