Ashley Kate HR & Finance are partnering with our global client as they recruit a Talent Specialist into their dedicated HR function. We're looking for a proactive and people‑focused Talent Specialist to help shape the future of their UK workforce. In this role, you'll support the full talent lifecycle developing high‑potential employees, ensuring their people have the tools, opportunities and support they need to grow.
The role:
Manager Development - Promote and train managers in using Group development tools such as mentoring, job shadowing, 360° feedback and IDPs, providing guidance, upskilling and supporting documentation. Training Supplier Management - Select, coordinate and manage external training providers to meet business development needs. Learning Rollouts - Play an active role in implementing Group learning programmes, including WMIH workshops and academy initiatives. Talent Pipeline Development - Design, lead and support talent pipeline development L&D Community Engagement - Contribute to the Group L&D Community of Practice and support branding and content for the UK L&D intranet pages. Mentoring Top Talent - Mentor top talents and employees with specific development needs, partnering with senior leaders to identify and support high‑potential individuals. Education Partnerships - Act as the main contact for colleges and universities to strengthen our talent pipeline and recruitment strategy. Annual L&D Planning - Support annual planning and budgeting for training and development activities. Performance Cycle Support - Support managers through the performance cycle, ensuring SMART target setting and regular coaching conversations.
What You'll Bring
Experience in Talent, Learning & Development, or a related HR field with strong emphasis on Talent development. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including managers, senior leaders, training providers and education partners. A proactive, organised and detail‑focused approach to planning and delivery. Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Economics, or a related field. CIPD membership (or working towards it). Experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management. Strong communication and project management skills. Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
