Who you are

• You have 1-4 years experience in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.

• You believe assembling high-performance teams is an engineering problem.

• You're an engineer at heart and you can read people and social environments.

• You've built and hacked together products.

• You are a proactive problem solver; you have experience using software and LLMs to solve problems.

• You are insatiably curious about how the world works

• You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, aligned with MECE (Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive) principles

What the job involves

You're our first talent hire. So far, we've only been able to deliver our mission because of the incredible people who have chosen to work at Scarlet. As we grow, we're looking for an engineer to enable the team, especially those who are hiring, to improve the ways in which we find, attract, and win over the most talented people. In particular:

• Develop systems to effectively identify, engage, and attract the absolutely most talented people in the world.

• Build automation and tools to help hiring managers manage active candidates to ensure they have the best experience possible.

• Enable hiring managers to build and maintain a network of incredibly talented, mission-aligned indibiduals to support future hires.

You will be expected to exercise strong judgment and an intuitive understanding of what excellence and a cultural fit looks like.
