About the Modern Languages Department: The Modern Languages Department is a dedicated team of Spanish Teachers who work together to create engaging and inspiring lessons. Spanish Teachers in the department are passionate about language learning and strive to cultivate an appreciation for Spanish in their students.

Spanish Teacher Role Responsibilities:

• Teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level in the future.


• Develop engaging lesson plans and deliver them effectively to students.


• Monitor student progress, assess achievements, and provide valuable feedback.


• Participate in curriculum development and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.


• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Spanish Teacher Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Spanish or a related subject.


• PGCE or QTS.


• Previous experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level (including PGCE placements).


• ECTs are encouraged to apply.
