Reed Finance Norwich are seeking a Tax Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team in Norwich. Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare and submit self-assessment tax returns, including those with foreign income, land and property, and disposal of assets.
• Calculate and file Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax returns.
• Manage annual trust accounts and tax returns, as well as estate tax returns for the administration period.
• Provide income tax advice and ensure compliance in relation to trusts and estates.
• Liaise with HMRC and other stakeholders on behalf of clients.
• Handle a caseload efficiently, prioritising multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Background in tax within an accountancy practice with specific experience in Trust arrangements desirable but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience managing a caseload.
• Knowledge in completing self-assessment tax returns, preparing Trust accounts, and handling Inheritance and Capital Gains tax returns.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage a busy workload and meet strict deadlines.
• ATT, CTA, or STEP qualification is desirable, though not essential.
• Strong awareness of different client needs, including businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts, and charities.
