TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well -established, growing and forward -thinking business and advisory firm based in Camberley, who are looking to recruit a Tax Senior to join their friendly and collaborative tax team.
This firm supports entrepreneurial and high growth businesses as well as private individuals, delivering a wide range of tax compliance and advisory services. This role would suit a driven, ambitious and versatile individual who is keen to take the next step in their tax career.
About the Role
Working closely with the Tax team, you will be responsible for a broad range of personal and corporate tax work. Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing personal and corporation tax returns for a varied client portfolio
Handling tax planning assignments, advising on allowances, reliefs and structuring opportunities
Managing tax compliance deadlines and ensuring timely and accurate submissions
Reviewing tax computations prepared by junior team members and providing constructive feedback
Assisting with HMRC enquiries and correspondence
Supporting Partners and Managers with advisory projects, technical research and analysis
Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with current legislation and standards
Managing client relationships and delivering a consistently high level of service
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification, or be qualified by experience
A strong background in personal and or corporate tax within an accountancy practice environment
Proven experience preparing tax computations, returns and advisory work
Solid knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC compliance requirements
Experience reviewing junior staff work and managing client relationships
Experience using tax and accounting software such as CCH, IRIS or similar
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary in the region of £45,000 -£60,000 dependent on experience, a friendly and collaborative working environment, and the opportunity to develop your technical and client management skills within a growing firm.
