Salary: £30,000-£40,000

I'm delighted to be partnering with a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire that is looking to recruit a Tax Assistant to join their in-house finance team.

This is a newly created role offering excellent exposure across the business, giving you the chance to take ownership with aspects of the tax function, contribute to strategic decisions, and work closely with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with all aspects of corporate tax compliance and reporting
Advise on tax planning strategies, risks, and opportunities
Provide support on the tax implications of key business decisions and transactions
Liaise with HMRC and external tax advisors
Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure ongoing compliance
Support the wider finance and commercial teams as a trusted tax partner

What We’re Looking For:

Studying towards an accountancy qualification - AAT, ACA, ACCA OR CIMA
Good knowledge of debits and credits, as well as general understanding of a P&L
Excellent communication skills and commercial acumen
Proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership
