We’re working with a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice in Southampton, who are looking to expand their tax team with the addition of a Personal Tax Semi Senior or Senior. The role offers exposure to a varied client base, progression prospects, and a collaborative team environment.

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including business owners, landlords, HNWIs, and directors

• Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns

• Supporting with P11Ds, capital gains tax and ad hoc personal tax queries

• Exposure to some corporation tax or mixed tax work if desired

• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC to resolve queries and provide advice

• Supporting junior members of the team (at Senior level)

• You’ll have at least 2–3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice in a personal tax or mixed tax role

• Ideally ATT qualified, or studying towards ATT / CTA (not essential)

• Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance and basic advisory

• A great communicator who enjoys working with clients directly

• Keen to grow in a firm where you’ll be recognised and supported

• Competitive salary depending on experience — likely £30,000 – £42,000
