Tax Assistant / Trainee

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of personal tax computations and self -assessment returns.
  

• Support senior staff with client queries and tax compliance work.
  

• Maintain accurate client records and ensure deadlines are met.
  

• Develop technical knowledge across personal and business tax.
  

• Work closely with colleagues in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Have started an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or similar), tax -focused or otherwise.
  

• Minimum of 12 months’ experience working in a practice environment, ideally in tax.
  

• Understanding of basic tax principles and compliance requirements.
  

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  

• Eagerness to learn and progress within the firm.
