Tax Director

Hiring: Associate Tax Director – International Tax.

Location: Reading, RG26DA

Job Overview:

* We are looking for an experienced Associate Tax Director to lead international tax planning, audits, compliance and strategic tax projects across countries outside the US. The role involves managing global tax matters, advising on M&A activities, driving tax process improvements and leading a team of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead international tax planning, restructuring and strategic tax projects across non-US jurisdictions.

* Provide tax advisory support for mergers, acquisitions and business restructuring.

* Manage and resolve international tax audits, assessments and litigations.

* Oversee corporate tax compliance, tax returns, tax reviews and interactions with Tax Authorities.

* Collaborate with Accounting, Legal, Treasury, FP&A and global tax leadership teams.

* Drive tax process optimisation through digital tools and automation, including AI, Alteryx and Qlik.

* Lead, mentor and develop a team of tax professionals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related discipline.

* 15+ years of relevant experience in corporate income tax and international taxation.

* Strong knowledge of corporate income taxes, international tax compliance, audits and planning.

* Proven experience in tax audits, litigation management and M&A tax advisory.

* Previous team management and senior stakeholder management experience.

Preferred Skills:

* CPA, CTA, Master's in Taxation or Master's in Accounting.

* Experience with OneSource Tax Provision and SAP.

* Knowledge of Alteryx, Qlik, AI and tax automation tools.

* Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
