Description

• Lead the tax department and oversee all tax-related activities.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
• Ensure tax compliance and maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, offering expert tax advice.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Foster a positive work environment, and mentor and develop team members.
• Participate in business development activities to increase the firm's client base.
• Prepare and present regular reports on tax department's performance to senior management.

Profile

A successful Tax Director should have:

• A professional qualification in Tax, ideally CTA, but ATT + extensive experience is considered.
• Experience in a tax role within a professional services environment.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
