Reed Maidstone are working with a local practice are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax affairs for sole traders and companies, focusing on personal tax and Capital Gains Tax (CGT). This is a challenging and yet rewarding role that involves managing approximately 1000 clients annually

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage and oversee the tax affairs of approximately 1000 clients annually, focusing on sole traders and companies.
• Provide expert advice on personal tax and Capital Gains Tax (CGT).
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation.
• Prepare and review tax returns and documents for accuracy.
• Liaise with clients to provide tax planning advice tailored to their specific needs.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ATT qualification is essential.
• Proven experience as a Tax Manager, particularly in managing tax affairs for sole traders and companies.
• Strong understanding of personal tax and Capital Gains Tax (CGT).
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex tax issues in clear terms.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office.
