Tax Manager

Citadel Source is delighted to be working with a chartered tax advisory firm in Bristol to recruit a Tax Manager, working with large and complex clients in a fast-paced environment, including FTSE-listed and S&P 500 businesses.

The role

As a Tax Manager, you will work with a team of experts across the business, taking the time to understand your clients’ individual challenges and help identify the right bespoke solution for their business - equipping them with the tools to increase the value and efficiencies within the claim process, support planning and forecasting of accurate activities as well as assisting them in assessing and managing risk. You will also direct the resources required to deliver on these complex projects and manage the delivery of excellence throughout the claim.

About you

This role will suit an ACCA/ACA/CTA/CIOT qualified tax specialist with experience delivering general tax advice, ideally coming from a reputable accountancy or tax practice. You will be a proactive person who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, who is confident in building relationships with a multitude of different clientele.

As a Tax Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:

• Serve as an ambassador and key contact for Tax Advisory services, supporting and coaching colleagues to identify tax opportunities for clients
• Work with clients to identify opportunities for R&D tax relief/credits based on their innovative activities
• Lead the training and development of the wider tax team to support Tax service delivery and advance their career growth
• Participate in delivering other tax advisory and compliance services, offering a chance to broaden tax expertise
