Job Description - Tax Manager

The Role

As a Tax Manager in Henley-on-Thames, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the financial landscape for their clients. Your key responsibilities include:

Managing a Portfolio of Clients and Their Tax Affairs: Oversee the tax affairs of a portfolio of clients, ensuring that their tax strategies align with their unique financial goals.

Completion and/or Reviews of Personal Tax Returns and Computations: Ensure precise and accurate completion and review of personal tax returns and computations.

Completion and/or Reviews of P11Ds and PSAs: Maintain compliance through meticulous completion and review of P11Ds and PSAs.

Work Closely with More Senior Staff on Technical Tax Advisory Projects: Collaborate on challenging technical tax advisory projects for personal and professional growth.

Ad Hoc Technical Research and Drafting Advisory Reports: Innovate and problem-solve while drafting advisory reports.

Assist with HMRC Enquiries: Handle HMRC inquiries with expertise to support clients effectively.

ATED and Employment Related Securities Returns: Ensure compliance and accuracy with ATED and employment-related securities returns.

Work with Accounts and Audit Team: Collaborate with the accounts and audit team to address ad hoc tax queries from clients and stakeholders.

Deliver Training to More Junior Members of Staff and Manage the Team Workflow: Share your knowledge by delivering training to junior staff and contributing to smooth team operations.

About You

To excel in this role, we're looking for candidates who possess:

Prior Tax Compliance Experience: A strong background in tax compliance is a must.
CTA Qualified or Part Qualified (Desirable): CTA qualified or part qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Support for professional growth is available.
