Tax Manager

As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a mix of compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients. • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) - essential.

• Proven experience as a Tax Manager, with a strong background in both corporate and personal tax.

• Solid understanding of UK tax compliance, reporting, and advisory matters.

• Ability to manage client relationships, providing clear and strategic tax advice.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation.

• Experience mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work.

• Manage a varied portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.

• Review tax returns, computations, and disclosures for companies, partnerships, and individuals.

• Provide practical tax advisory services, including planning, restructuring, and transaction support.

• Assist clients with HMRC enquiries, investigations, and tax dispute resolution.

• Identify tax planning opportunities and deliver tailored solutions to optimise clients’ tax positions.

• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate impacts to clients and colleagues.

• Supervise and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
