We’re working with a highly respected, independent accountancy practice with over 170 years of heritage. Known for its strong client relationships and supportive environment, this firm is now looking for a Tax Manager to join their growing team in Northampton.

As a Tax Manager, you’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and supporting the firm’s wider tax strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to individuals and businesses
• Review complex tax returns and computations prepared by the team
• Liaise with HMRC and other stakeholders on behalf of clients
• Support the development of junior staff and contribute to internal training
• Assist partners with business development and client relationship management

• CTA qualified (or ACA/ACCA with strong tax experience)
• Significant experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team
