Description

• Manage and oversee tax compliance processes, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
• Take ownership on lead on the reviewing of UK Corporation Tax work.
• Lead and review preparation and submission of accurate UK&I Tax returns which includes VAT, PSA, STBV, SAO report and other returns, on time.
• Lead and review preparation of accurate Tax notes for statutory financial statements.
• Lead tax planning initiatives to optimise the organisation's financial position.
• Prepare and review tax reports for submission to local and international authorities.
• Advise internal teams on tax implications of business decisions and strategies.
• Collaborate with external advisors and auditors to ensure compliance and resolve tax-related matters.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on business operations.
• Support the finance team with tax accounting and reporting activities.
• Drive process improvements in tax-related workflows for increased efficiency.

Profile

A successful Tax Manager should have:

• A professional qualification in tax, accountancy, or a related field.
• Proven experience in tax management within a corporate setting, ideally with U.S influence
• Experience with SAP
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations including but not limited to corporation tax and indirect tax.
• Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
