The firm is a well-established, two-office accountancy firm in Kent with around 20 employees, providing high-quality services to a loyal portfolio of SME clients. Known for their down-to-earth approach and technical expertise, they are now looking for a Personal Tax Manager to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

As a Tax Manager, you will…

• Manage a portfolio of SME clients, delivering tailored Personal Tax services
• Provide advice on Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and general tax planning
• Oversee and support junior tax staff with compliance and advisory work
• Build trusted relationships with clients, delivering proactive and timely support

Requirements:

As a Tax Manager, you will need…

• Proven experience in Personal Tax within a UK accountancy firm
• Strong technical knowledge of CGT, IHT, and general tax compliance
• Professional qualifications such as CTA, ACA, or ACCA (or working towards)
• A client-focused mindset with excellent communication and leadership skills
