The Role

We are looking for a Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join our friendly and professional Tax team in Bexhill. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will manage your own portfolio of clients, support junior team members, and work closely with senior tax specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert tax advice and support
  
• Oversee and mentor junior team members, ensuring workloads are managed effectively
  
• Handle personal and capital gains tax matters (experience with inheritance tax, P11D forms, ATED returns, and trusts is desirable but not essential)
  
• Work on corporation tax matters where required
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing a high level of service
  

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds an ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualification with 4–5 years’ experience
  
• Has experience managing client portfolios and supervising junior staff
  
• Possesses strong knowledge of personal and capital gains tax
  
• Has a genuine interest in tax and a desire to keep developing their expertise.
  
• Delivers excellent customer service and builds strong working relationships
  
• Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
