Our client is a well-established accountancy firm in Coventry who are looking for a senior Tax professional to join their team and play a key role in the firm’s growth.

Job role

• Leading and developing the firm’s tax advisory and compliance services
• Managing and growing a portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest level of service
• Mentoring and leading a team of tax professionals, helping them develop their careers
• Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth
• Playing a key role in business development, securing new clients, and expanding the firm’s tax offering
• Working closely with Partners and senior leadership to shape the firm’s long-term tax strategy

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will:

• Be CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified
• Ambitious, and keen to become a partner in time
• Have strong technical expertise across business and corporate tax
• Demonstrate leadership skills, with experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff
• Be a strong communicator with the ability to build and maintain high-value client relationships
• Have a commercial mindset, capable of identifying and securing business opportunities
• Be strategically focused, with the ambition to take on a full Partner role in the near future
