Sheridan Maine is seeking a Tax Semi Senior to join a well-regarded accountancy practice in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous tax experience who is studying towards a professional qualification and eager to build a long-term career in practice.

You will assist with tax compliance work and begin developing advisory skills while working with a wide range of clients.

Key responsibilities as Tax Semi Senior:

• Assist with preparing personal and corporate tax returns.
• Liaise with clients to request records and clarify tax matters.
• Support senior staff with advisory projects and planning.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate working papers and documentation.
• Monitor deadlines and manage your workload effectively.
• Continue working toward a relevant professional qualification.
  
  

The successful Tax Semi Senior must possess:

• Previous experience in a tax or mixed accounts and tax role.
• Studying towards ATT, ACA, ACCA, or similar qualification.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• A proactive and client-focused approach.
• 2+ years of experience in a UK practice.
