The Role

They are seeking a Personal Tax Semi-Senior to join their esteemed team. As a key member of their Personal Tax department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks including:

• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
• Advising clients on a range of personal tax issues, ensuring compliance and optimising their tax positions
• Assisting with the preparation of complex tax computations
• Supporting clients with HMRC enquiries and investigations
• Collaborating with other departments to provide comprehensive financial solutions
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest tax legislation and best practices

About You

They are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for personal tax. The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 1 years of experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice
• A solid understanding of UK tax legislation and compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A proactive and client-focused approach
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
• Professional qualifications such as ATT or CTA (or working towards these)
