Tax Senior

This role offers a balanced mix of corporate and personal tax work, with a focus on both compliance and light advisory services. • ATT qualified (or part-qualified CTA/ACA/ACCA) - with a strong foundation in UK tax.

• Proven experience as a Tax Senior (or ready to step up from Semi-Senior) in a practice environment.

• Solid experience handling corporate tax compliance (CT600s, provisions, disclosures) and personal tax (self-assessment, P11Ds, etc.).

• Some exposure to basic tax advisory work (e.g., relief claims, planning, HMRC enquiries) is desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain tax matters clearly to clients and colleagues.

• Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Assist with tax computations, provisions, and disclosures for a varied client portfolio.

• Support managers on ad-hoc advisory projects, such as R&D claims, capital allowances, and IHT planning.

• Liaise with HMRC on client matters, including enquiries and payment negotiations.

• Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on technical issues.

• Build relationships with clients, offering proactive support and identifying tax efficiency opportunities.
