Tax Senior

An award-winning accountancy firm is seeking a Mixed Tax Executive to join their growing Tax Department. This full-time, hybrid role offers a varied client portfolio (60/40 personal/business tax), career progression, study support, and a market-leading benefits package.

As a Tax Senior, working closely with the Head of Tax, you'll provide expert tax advice, support R&D claims, manage compliance, and contribute to business development. Ideal for someone ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or working towards) with strong technical knowledge and client-facing experience.

• Manage and advise on a portfolio of Personal & corporate tax clients
• Prepare and review tax returns, computations, and filings
• Lead on R&D tax claims and identify qualifying expenditure
• Deliver tax planning strategies to reduce liabilities
• Keep clients updated on legislation and compliance
• Build strong relationships as a trusted advisor
• Support new business opportunities and firm growth
• Oversee workflow, review junior staff output, and meet deadlines
• Assist with tax research and ad hoc queries

• ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• Strong corporate and R&D tax knowledge
• Experience in a client-facing role within practice
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple priorities

• £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service
