Tax Senior

This established accountancy practice is looking for a Tax Senior to join their Petersfield office, reporting to the Tax Manager. With a friendly, professional culture and scope to develop your skills further, this role offers stability, flexibility and career progression.
You’ll manage a varied client portfolio, preparing and reviewing tax returns and acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day queries.

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:

• Preparing Self-Assessment Personal Tax Returns for review, client approval and HMRC submission
• Managing a portfolio of clients, including rental, investment, company directors and high net worth individuals
• Exposure to partners, partnerships, CGT, P11Ds, ATED, trust registrations and trust & estate tax returns (depending on interest and background)
• Keeping working files structured and up to date
• Organising and prioritising your workload effectively, coordinating with the wider team
• Providing regular updates to managers/partners and flagging key client matters
• Staying on top of changes in tax legislation, with CPD support

What you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Tax Senior / Tax Semi-Senior / Tax Manager / Accountant
• ATT qualification or part-qualification, QBE can be considered
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail and a self-motivated approach
