Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a leading firm of accountants in Glasgow who are currently seeking a talented Tax Senior to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on responsibility for a varied portfolio of private clients, combining compliance work with exposure to interesting advisory projects, all within a supportive and progressive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Take ownership of personal tax compliance and advisory for a wide range of clients, including individuals, trusts, and estates

• Review and sign off on returns, ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Support more complex planning projects

• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients and oversee workflow for junior team members.

• Stay on top of UK tax legislation and provide input into process improvements.

About You

• A Full UK Driving Licence

• Either ATT or CTA qualified already, or be "Qualified by Experience"

• Exposure to rural

• Experience of working in an Accounting / Tax Compliance capacity at an Accountancy Practice

• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment

• A dedicated team player and willing to assist colleagues within the team where possible

• Able to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure

• Able to use initiatives and have great organisation / problem solving skills

• Keen to become part of a dynamic team
