Job Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Senior to join a growing and supportive accountancy practice. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base, ranging from sole traders to high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed businesses. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality personal tax services while supporting wider advisory work and building strong client relationships.
The role involves:

Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, directors and business owners
Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, supporting junior team members where required
Providing tax advice across areas such as capital gains tax, VAT and aspects of corporation tax
Supporting senior team members with advisory projects and technical tax queries
Liaising with HMRC and handling client correspondence effectively
Meeting with prospective clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutionsYou’ll need:

Previous experience in personal tax within a UK accountancy practice
ATT qualified, part-qualified CTA or qualified by experience
Broad awareness of UK tax areas beyond personal tax
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
Confidence in dealing directly with clients and supporting colleagues
Experience with IRIS software is advantageous but not essential
