Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Witney, is looking to expand their growing tax team with a dedicated Tax Trainee or Semi Senior. As part of the tax team, you will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining hands-on exposure to a varied portfolio of clients, including individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing personal and business tax returns

• Assisting with tax compliance and advisory projects

• Liaising with HMRC and clients directly

• Supporting senior team members on tax planning and consultancy work

• Keeping up to date with current tax legislation

• ATT qualified or currently studying towards ATT

• Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice (ideally within a tax team)

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

• Confident communicator with both clients and colleagues

• Eagerness to develop within tax – CTA study support can be offered
