Teacher Required for a Secondary School in Ealing

About the role:

At Engage Education, we’re currently looking for a unique teacher with an interest in working at a school that caters for the needs of secondary-aged pupils with learning difficulties and associated communication, behavioural, sensory and physical needs.

The ideal applicant will be:

An experienced teacher (with QTS)

*

Experienced in teaching Secondary Pupils

*

Experience with Autism and complex needs

*

Experience teaching within an SEN or SEMH setting (desirable)

*

Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of differentiated teaching methods

*

Manual handling, hoist, PECS or Makaton knowledge would be an advantage

*

An outstanding teacher with a love of children and teaching

*

Able to structure and innovate learning to support needs within the classroom

*

Outstanding behaviour management in particular challenging behaviours
