Role Overview

Trigon Recruitment are working with an outstanding provider of alternative education and are currently seeking a Teacher to work in their High Wycombe campus.

At Thrapston we support approximately 35 pupils on roll to ensure that we can provide ample opportunities for children who need a nurturing, encouraging and supportive environment, specifically for those who will reintegrate back into a mainstream setting. The school consists of a core team of the Head of School, Deputy Head of School, five teachers, and five support staff. Further support is also provided by regional and national staff, who work with a number of schools across our group.

Role Requirements

Teachers - to hold QTS/QTLS

Tutors – to have a degree or equivalent

Proven track record of raising attainment, supporting behavioural challenges and demonstrating high levels of pastoral care.

Enthusiastic about alternative education methodologies

A commitment to holistic student development

Ready to bring fresh ideas and creativity to the classroom and outside it

Passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives

A good understanding of Ofsted

Engaging teaching style

Strong classroom management skills

Experience teaching in an alternative provision setting would be an advantage
