About the Role:

• Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for teaching at Key Stage 5.


• Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.


• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital media, to develop students' artistic skills and knowledge.


• Encourage students to explore their creativity and express themselves through a range of art forms.


• Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.


• Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.


• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.

We are looking for:

• A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.


• Excellent subject knowledge in Art and Design.


• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.


• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.


• The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
