Teacher of Art Permanent Role | Rochdale

A secondary school in Rochdale is looking to appoint a Teacher of Art to join its Creative Arts department from September.

This role involves teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a well-supported school environment with high expectations for teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will deliver practical and engaging lessons that help students develop technical skills and confidence in Art.

The Role:

• Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4

• Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons

• Supporting students of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes

• Contributing to enrichment opportunities and wider department activities

• Working collaboratively within the Creative Arts faculty

Requirements:

Applicants must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject

• Experience teaching Art within a UK secondary school setting

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• The legal right to work in the UK
