Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in West Lancashire to recruit a qualified Chemistry Teacher for a September start.

This is a full-time role initially running until the Christmas break, with the potential to be extended beyond this for the right candidate.

The school is looking for a knowledgeable and engaging Chemistry Teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will join a supportive Science department that is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.

The Role:

Full-time Chemistry Teacher
September start
Initially until Christmas, with the possibility of an extension
Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons
Paid to scaleThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Chemistry in a UK secondary school
Strong classroom management skills
A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneWhat We Offer:
