Contract Type: Full-Time, Maternity Cover
Start Date: August 2025
Salary: £150 - £220 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)

Tradewind Recruitment are working on behalf of a school in Leicester to recruit a committed and knowledgeable Teacher of Computer Science to cover a maternity leave starting in August 2025.

• Teaching Computer Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

• Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the OCR GCSE J277 specification

• Preparing pupils for assessments and tracking progress in line with school policies

• Promoting digital literacy and enthusiasm for computing

• Contributing to the computing department and wider school community

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Have recent experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level

• Be confident with Python programming and core computer science concepts

• Be familiar with the OCR J277 GCSE specification

• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
