We are working with a leading independent school in Islington to recruit a logical and innovative Teacher of Computer Science for a permanent, full-time position. Starting ASAP, the school is looking for a specialist who can deliver high-quality Computer Science and Coding lessons. This "Outstanding" rated school provides a scholarly environment where STEM subjects are a core pillar of the curriculum, supported by the latest cybersecurity and robotics labs.

The Role

• Teach Computer Science from Year 7 through to Year 13.

• Develop schemes of work focusing on Python, algorithms, and data representation.

• Foster a love for problem-solving through extra-curricular coding and AI clubs.

• Prepare students for high-stakes examinations at GCSE and A-Level with a focus on technical proficiency.

The Person

• QTS and a degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline.

• Excellent technical proficiency and a proactive attitude towards digital innovation.

• The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Salary & Benefits The school pays according to its own independent payscale. Salary will be determined based on experience but, if successful, can be negotiated. The school offers an excellent professional development programme.
