Salary Range: £37,057 to £54,605 (inclusive of London weighting), dependent on experience, pro rata

Start Date: September 2025

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Teacher of Criminology/Law to deliver exceptional education to students aged 16-19. Day-to-day of the role:

Deliver outstanding teaching and learning in Criminology and Law, ensuring high standards of achievement and progression for all students.

Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and inspire students.

Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on students' progress and attainment, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.

Contribute to the development of curricula and resources within the department.

Maintain a positive, educational environment that encourages student participation and promotes both academic and personal growth.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in continuous professional development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in a relevant subject area.

Proven experience in teaching Criminology and/or Law at A Level or vocational courses.

Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.

Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
