Teacher of Design Technology/3D Design

Part time 0.6 - required for January 2025

We require a committed and inspiring teacher to teach 3D Design.

You should have excellent practical skills and experience of working in a range of workshop processes including CAD/CAM. You may also have additional experience in areas of 3D such as ceramics/sculpture.

The subject has recently transitioned from Resistant Materials to 3D Design. Pupils study under OCR Three-Dimensional Design at GCSE, and AQA Three-Dimensional Design at A Level. In the first three years of study, 3D Design forms part of a Creative Arts carousel of subjects.

The ability to teach to GCSE and A-Level is essential, along with knowledge and understanding of the design process and practical skills and experience of working with a wide range of materials and processes.

You will hold a relevant degree and have a clear desire to ensure high standards of pupil progression and attainment, providing stimulating learning opportunities.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a small team with the Teacher i/c of 3D Design and a Technician.
