Teacher of Drama Permanent Role | Rochdale

A sixth form setting in Rochdale is looking to appoint a Teacher of Drama to join its Performing Arts department from September.

This role involves teaching Drama within a well-established Performing Arts department with a strong focus on student participation and achievement.

The successful candidate will deliver practical Drama lessons that help students develop performance, communication, and analytical skills.

The Role:

• Teaching Drama within a sixth form environment

• Delivering engaging and practical lessons

• Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes

• Contributing to productions and enrichment activities

• Working collaboratively within the wider Performing Arts team

Requirements:

Applicants must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related subject

• Experience teaching Drama within a UK secondary or post-16 setting

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• The legal right to work in the UK
