Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Teacher of RE and English to join a secondary school in Sefton, starting after the October half-term break. This is a full-time temporary position running until Christmas, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT looking for a short-term role.

The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across Religious Education and English, supporting pupils to make good progress and develop their knowledge and skills.

The Role

As a Teacher of RE and English, you will be responsible for:

Teaching RE and English across the secondary age range.
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons.
Supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
Assessing pupil progress and providing appropriate feedback.
Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team.
Contributing positively to the school's wider ethos and environment.The Ideal Candidate

The successful Teacher of RE and English will have:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in RE and English.
Experience teaching within a secondary school.
The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across both subjects.
Excellent classroom management skills.
A commitment to supporting pupils' progress and achievement.
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through Tradewind Recruitment.Why Apply?
