Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate academic achievement.
• Fostering a positive, inclusive, and challenging learning environment.
• Contributing to the development of the English curriculum and departmental initiatives.
• Participating in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
• Upholding the values and ethos of a Catholic school, promoting respect, compassion, and community.

We are looking for an English Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related field.
• Has a strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English language and literature.
• Is committed to student success and differentiation for all abilities.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is dedicated to contributing positively to the school's Catholic mission and community.
