A well-established Catholic girls' school in Southwark, South London, seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology teacher to join its dynamic team. This is a full-time, one-year fixed-term position offering the chance to inspire the next generation of food enthusiasts.

About the Role:

• Design and deliver engaging and informative Food Technology lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.


• Cultivate a stimulating and safe learning environment that fosters a love for exploration in the kitchen, practical skills, and a strong foundation in nutrition.


• Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.


• Stay abreast of advancements in the Food Technology field and integrate them seamlessly into the curriculum.


• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology department and contribute to school-wide events.

We Seek a Candidate Who:

• Possesses a valid QTS in Food Technology or a closely related discipline.


• Demonstrates a fervent passion for food and a captivating teaching style.


• Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.


• Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.


• Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being. (Experience in a Catholic school setting a plus).
