Essential requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons.
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and love for the subject.
• Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student's progress.
• Develop and use innovative teaching resources and strategies.
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department.
• Promote geographical literacy and critical thinking skills.
• Lead field trips and practical learning experiences to enhance classroom teaching.
• Engage with parents and guardians to support student's academic progress.
• Participate in school events, enrichment activities, and extracurricular programs.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends.
