Teacher of History (ECT Support) - Outstanding Haringey School

We are working with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" secondary school in Haringey recruiting for a History ECT. This is a scholarly environment where the Humanities are a core pillar of the curriculum.

The Role You will teach History across all key stages, focusing on source analysis, historiography, and historical arguments.

• Start Date: ASAP (Full-time, Permanent)

• Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering rigorous History lessons with a focus on rhetoric and enquiry.

  • Engaging in a structured induction programme with a dedicated Humanities expert.

  • Contributing to the school’s inclusive pastoral life as a Form Tutor.

  • Supporting the "History Society" and university-level student enquiries.
