Maths Teacher required in Leeds –September

Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a Leeds partner Academy to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher. This is a full-time Maths Teacher placement and will begin in September 2026, up until December 2026 in the first instance, with the potential to be extended.

The successful Maths Teacher will be teaching Maths up to GCSE level and will have responsibility for their own exam classes. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Maths Teacher to make a positive impact within a supportive and well-established department.

This is a ‘Good’ rated school based in West Leeds, where leaders place a high priority on pupils’ academic success. They ensure that pupils are well prepared for their next steps in education, employment, or training. Requirements:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Well qualified with an honours degree in a relevant subject
• 2 x references from educational establishments
• Evidence of an exemplary track record as a Maths Teacher
• A passion for success and quality teaching
• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service
