Are you a Teacher of Music looking for a new and rewarding teaching opportunity in Aylesbury? - Tradewind are excited to be supporting an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Aylesbury seeking a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Music to join their Performing Arts department this September 2025 (or January 2026).

The school has recently been judged Good by Ofsted, with inspectors praising its joyful learning environment, high ambitions for all pupils, engaging curriculum, and effective support for students with SEND. It's widely recognised for a supportive leadership team, an inclusive ethos, and strong outcomes in national examinations.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver structured Music lessons across KS3-KS4

• Plan, prepare, and assess students work incorporating theory, performance, and composition

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and musical engagement

• Participate in departmental planning and whole-school events

• Contribute to extra-curricular Music opportunities such as choirs/concerts

Requirements include:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Music degree and/or music teaching qualification

• Previous experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting

• Strong subject knowledge, enthusiasm for music education, and performance

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
