Teacher of Performing Arts

At Engage Education, we’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful secondary school within Barking and Dagenham that caters for students ages 11-18 who are currently recruiting for a Drama Teacher who can teach Drama across KS3/KS4 and/or KS5 to start in September 2024.

This is a permanent teaching role teaching Drama with some Dance to Key Stage 3/4 and/or 5 students. This role comes with plenty of room for career progression for those who commit to the school’s passion for providing a supportive and enriching environment for these young adults. The school also places great emphasis on staff wellbeing and a healthy work-life balance.

• Have the ability to build strong rapport with young adults, and have experience mentoring students

• Have experience teaching Drama at KS3/4

• Have a proven background in raising pupil progress

• A real desire to make a positive difference to the students that you work with

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
