Science Teacher – Secondary School

Location: Middlesbrough
Contract: Full-time or Part-time
Start: ASAP / September 2026

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Middlesbrough.

The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons and supporting students to make strong progress.

The role:

Teach Science across KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
Assess and monitor student progress effectively
Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential
Contribute positively to the Science department and wider school community
Full-time and part-time availability considered
We are looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent and relevant teaching experience, either in employment or training
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Experience of assessment at KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A positive and committed approach to teaching and learning
